We are looking for an energetic, determined Business Development Manager to join Canaan U.S. Inc. in supporting Bitcoin Mining business throughout the entire client engagement. You will be the face of the Canaan and build with strategic partners to drive growth and profitability.

Responsibilities

● Oversee all facets of business partner growth, including identifying and developing bitcoin mining business partners, business prioritization, strategic analysis, financial assessment, project architecture and negotiation, and continuous partner management.

● Conduct market research and competitive analysis, identify potential opportunities and develop success metrics in the North American market.

● Primary point of contact between business partners and Canaan, take ownership of client issues and provide proactive, value-added customer support

● Collaborate with internal stakeholders in product, marketing, operation, and customer support and make sure the client’s requests are handled in an efficient and timely manner

● Business travel to mining sites, industrial locations, and various conferences

Requirement:

● 2+ years of work experience in a trading or financial services business development/Marketing/sales role, cross-industry experience is welcome, mining experience is preferred

● Have a basic understanding of Bitcoin Mining, strong interest, and curiosity in Bitcoin, and a passion for Bitcoin mining and Canaan products/technology

● Well-developed business analysis skills, outstanding negotiation skills, and excellent communication skills

● A self-driven, proactive, professional, self-starter who can work in an environment of uncertainty, ambiguity, and complexity with diverse partners

● Ability to collaborate efficiently with colleagues and clients

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $37,499.14 - $150,000.00 per year
