Job summary
In partnership with the Executive Leader, responsible for all aspects of business development/sales pursuits in assigned area, including financials, solutioning, development of win strategy, leadership of all client-facing meetings, and contract negotiations. Lead the marketing business development programs and initiatives, accountable for the results and outcomes, act as a thought partner and advisor to the business lines in their marketing and business development activities.
CRUCIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Supports new and expanded business opportunities through prospecting, networking, relationship building, and selling services to current client base.
Handles the creation of proposals, presentations, and other materials with the pursuit team and national/local marketing professionals, as advised by Executive Leader.
Establishes relationships with decision-makers across organizational levels. Leads interactions in a large, global pursuits.
Understanding of each service line, platform, and value proposition. Often writes the summary and hemes for pursuits.
Coordination and governance of sales activity throughout the sales process including qualification, discovery, proposal, pricing presentation, negotiation, maintaining accurate, up-to- date information in database.
Manages and achieves financial, operational and other measures and/or KPI's (Key Performance Indicators) assigned.
Represent the company at trade shows and as responder to all sales related inquiries. Other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from four-year college or university required. 2 years’ experience in selling role/providing support to multiple or team of professionals; ability to settle and respond to conflicting priorities preferred. Experience selling in global markets is a plus.
CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES
Real Estate license or other relevant professional license preferred.
CoreNet membership and participation in local and regional events.
COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong interpersonal and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable service to customers. Ability to resent information. Ability to empower and negotiate optimally with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.
FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE
Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and commercial considerations. Conducts financial analysis.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires analytical and quantitative skills.
OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES
Technically savvy with solid experience using sales database systems, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Outlook, social media, internet.
Solid understanding of Salesforce.com is a plus.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY
Decisions made with general understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause negative impact to external and internal clients.
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the position is $120,000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $150,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
