Job description

The Snowy Owl Inn is looking for a dependable Building Maintenance Technician to join our facilities management team. In this role, you inspect the property to identify necessary repairs. Whenever possible, you complete the repairs yourself or with other members of our maintenance team. Our ideal candidate has some carpentry experience and is knowledgeable about various hand and power tools. You may also be asked to perform maintenance on our plumbing or electrical system, so any experience in these areas is positive. As part of our maintenance team, you should feel comfortable assisting with landscaping and cleaning tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Inspect the property to identify necessary repairs or updates
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs
• Assist with grounds maintenance tasks, including shoveling walkways and removing trash
• Assist with painting and hanging drywall
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts based on needs
• Keep maintenance logs

Pay is based on experience.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
