Job description
GFD Finaeon specializes in providing unique financial data to banks, investment firms, and universities. We are seeking an experienced individual who can provide bookkeeping and HR skills at a small firm. GFD needs an outgoing and friendly personality for this role who can work with others as part of a team. The ideal candidate will be organized, efficient, trustworthy, able to communicate well, and work independently while cooperating with management and others in the office.
Job Responsibilities
- Track expenses, budgets, cash flows, and receipts.
- Provide regular financial reports (monthly and yearly)
- Ensure timely processing of payroll through Paychex (our PEO).
- Fielding HR/accounting-related and general phone calls or emails
- Assisting the Director of Operations in maintaining employee records - New hire, background check, and termination paperwork
- Bookkeeping including, record and reconcile bank deposits, review all expense reports for proper GL coding, set up and enter all customer and vendor invoices, monitor accounts receivable and payable, send customer payment reminders monthly
- Go to bank, FedEx and other locations for job duties
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping and HR
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and QuickBooks
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
- Ability to work with customers and vendors
- Experience working with payroll

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 based off experience. Will be eligible for bonuses as well.
