Do you have interest and experience in calibrating, maintaining, and repairing medical machinery? If so, consider joining our team as a Bio Med Tech II working Full-Time at Siloam Springs Hospital.
Do you want to be a valued member of a team who plays a critical role in ensuring biomedical equipment is working at its best? Do you have interest and experience in calibrating, maintaining, and repairing medical machinery? If so, consider joining our team as a Bio Med Tech II working Full-Time at Siloam Springs Hospital.
Position responsibilities include:
- Manages work order control, PM schedules and generation, parts purchase request and equipment history records.
- Assists with staff training, policy and procedures, regulatory compliance and software data management.
- Establishes and maintains supporting technical literature, such as manufacturer’s literature, references standards, specifications and other documents necessary for supporting the Biomedical Program.
- Performs preventive maintenance, safety test, incoming inspection, installation, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, for all patient care equipment.
- Serves as an advisor to an appropriate hospital committee.
- Demonstrates cost-effective decision making skills.
- Performs all other duties assigned.
Key qualifications to be considered for this include:
- Associate’s Degree in Biomedical Electronics Technology or military medical repair specialist school or equivalent electronics training and medical equipment repair experience required
- 3-7 years of hospital experience preferred
