Job description
Position Purpose
Support the administration of benefit programs, prepare reports and analysis of benefits data and develop content for employee communications. Contribute to compensation related activities including pay analysis and other special projects.
Major/Key Accountabilities
- Provide support in the implementation and maintenance of employee benefit programs including Medical, Dental, Vision, Health Savings Account, Flexible Spending Account, Life, AD&D, Disability and the 401(k) plan.
- Develop content for employee communications and prepare and deliver benefit presentations. Provide benefits education and support to employees.
- Respond to employee inquiries and resolve issues related to employee benefits by serving as Tier 2 level support for the AskHR Team and cases submitted through Workday. Assist with daily Workday processes.
- Assist with benefits open enrollment, including testing and support with communications and training.
- Prepare benefit related reports and analysis for Finance teams
- Provide support with benefit weekly files and serve as a back-up for the processing of invoices and 401(k) funding.
- Undertake research and analysis related to employee benefits & compensation, including detailed benefit and cost analysis
- Produce reports, presentations, and analysis from various internal and external data sources, highlighting trends and relevant insights

Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
Desirable Qualifications:
- Professional HR qualification or other benefit or compensation related qualification.
Experience
- Experience of working in a benefits/compensation function in a corporate environment
- Experience in benefits administration and working with HRIS systems (Workday preferred)
Skills and Knowledge
- Strong understanding of employee benefit programs
- Knowledge of the regulatory requirements governing employee benefit plans
- Strong analytical skills and highly competent in excel - confident using vlookups, pivot tables and graphical presentation
- Excellent project management, time management, and organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills to effectively communicate with employees, benefit providers and other stakeholders
- Stays calm under pressure and demonstrates ability to deal effectively with multiple competing priorities
