Summary:
- Completes documentation and implementation of treatment plans ensuring involvement and understanding by the patient by using the correct terminology, daily logs, and progress reports and submits appropriate written and verbal reports by required deadlines.
- Ensures patients' rights are observed by encouraging questions regarding treatment and explaining the program. Works cooperatively as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
- Acts as an advocate in providing safe care delivery to promote wellness. Demonstrates the ability to respond calmly and effectively to emergencies, de-escalate patients verbally, and complete accurate, timely documentation.

- one year of related experience in behavoral health with adolescents and/or children or relevant college coursework in a related field. For example, Psychology, Social Worker, etc.
- Previous experience with emotionally or physically disabled patients preferred.
- Current Virginia driver's licensure with a good driving record
- Must be able to sustain physical activity and remain on feet throughout the scheduled shift.
