Shape Method is hiring barre and yoga instructors, or those interested in training to teach group fitness classes at our Burnet Road location.

Job starts at $40-$45 an hour with additional bonus opportunities.

The Shape Method foundation is quality instruction with a variety of creative and technical classes in a welcoming environment. Join our team and help grow your passion for fitness and health through the Shape Method community. We are currently accepting resumes from qualified candidates who teach barre, Pilates, and yoga. If you have a background in one or more of the requirements below or possess the qualities listed please apply.

• Strong musicality and/or dance background
• Knowledge of body biomechanics and anatomy
• Clear cueing technique
• Teaching experience in fitness and/or dance
• Fitness certification - Pilates, Yoga, Barre, Group Fitness, etc
• Degree in Dance, Exercise Science, or Kinesiology
• Energetic Personality and positive attitude to help inspire others
• Dedicated work ethic and team player

Once your resume is received, we will contact you for an interview and audition. Afterwards, if you are selected to join the SM team, you will be enrolled in our high quality, comprehensive training program. The length of training is dependent on your experience and knowledge.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour

Shape Method is mask-optional for all instructors and clients. We have a multi pronged covid protocol of sanitization, air circulation and exposure tracking.

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Austin, TX 78756: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Experience:

• Teaching Pilates, Group Fitness or Dance: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• AED Certification (Preferred)
