PJ's Coffee in Fondren (Jackson, MS), and PJ's UMMC, are looking for a barista to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who works well with a team in a fun, fast-paced environment! Full time or part time available!

Job Responsibilities

*Accurately prepare and serve PJ’s beverages and food products *Maintain a clean and tidy work area and follow health and safety guidelines *Provide EXCELLENT customer service by communicating professionally and respectfully with customers

Ideal Qualifications

*High integrity *Great attendance records and excellent punctuality *Strong interpersonal skills/ability to build relationships *Fast learner who is able to carry out oral and written instructions effectively *Open availability to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and nights and/or holidays

Physical Demands

*Must be able to be on your feet for most of your shift *Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds on a regular basis *Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Previous Experience

• Previous barista experience is preferred but not necessary. A great attitude and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment is a must.

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $10.00 - $14.00/hour.
