Regional Automation Engineer
About the job
RHI Magnesita is seeking a dynamic Regional Automation Engineer. This role will work remotely with up to 50% travel to York, PA plant. The Regional Automation Engineer will bring a deep understanding and knowledge of Automation into RHIM to improve automation level including hardware and software. This role will manage the global automation projects professionally and reach the project target.
The tasks will include:
- To have insight of automation technology, to bring advance automation technology into RHIM with thinking of productivity improvement and cost reduction
- To create and update global automation standards
- To know factories pain points and find solution. To be the technical expert/ consultant to provide technical support to automation projects in NAM factories.
- To manager or support other global automation projects
- To have a good communication and reliable relationship with internal organization and external vendors
- Be able to work under multi-culture and cross organization
About you
- Bachelor's degree or above in electrical engineering, industry automation or relevant majors
- High communication skill will be preferred
- Work experience on big size automation project will be preferred
- Work experience on Mining/Cement/Glass/Steel industry will be preferred
- Work experience in project management will be preferred. PMP certification will be preferred
- Fluent English both on writing and speaking is necessary. German or Spanish speaking will be preferred
- Minimum 8 years work experience in Automation field for PLC hardware configuration, software programming and site commissioning
- Knowledge of PLC systems such as AB/Siemens/ABB
- Special Software Sap, PLC or DCS
- Proficient in Microsoft computer software and MII
