Job description

We are a small, but growing law firm in Worthington, Ohio, and we are looking for an associate attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of civil litigation experience, be able to work independently, and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, discovery, motions, and memoranda.
• Represent clients in court.
• Negotiate settlements.
• Manage case files from intake to trial.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Ohio State Bar.
• 5+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Experience with electronic research.
• Experience drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and memoranda.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with real estate and business law preferred.
