In People & Places, we handle all things people-related so our employees around the globe are empowered to do their best work. In People Development, we deliver learning through Uberversity, our onboarding program for new hires, plus specialized training for managers and leaders.
In this role, you will be part of the Manager and Leadership Development pillar, within the People Development (PD) team. This role focuses on supporting Uber's overall approach to development through the design, delivery, communication, and measurement of learning and development experiences for managers and leaders globally.
- Work with senior team members on learning need analysis and user research for manager and leader programs
- Assist team in crafting innovative solutions around different manager and leadership personas (such as new managers, experienced managers, directors, and senior leaders)
- Independently lead execution of program delivery including virtual program administration, managing how our programs show up on our LMS, program scheduling, and logistics
- Work with senior team members to build a communication strategy and content for programs in the pillar, and independently action the communication plan
- Assist team in tracking metrics and impact of People Development programs within the manager and leadership space
- Actively contribute to the creation of self-paced content through platforms like Degreed
- Assist team in Manager and Leadership related work around our employee experience survey, special and strategic projects
- Support the larger People and Organization Development team in projects, initiatives, and programs outside the pillar
- Discover innovative solutions and learning partners through research and industry best practices
Basic Qualifications
1-3 years of professional experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Drive to learn about Uber’s business model and products - our People Development team is heavily invested in directly impacting business goals
- A flair for both communication and branding - this role will require independently leading marketing of our programs, which requires excellent hold over written communication, and also excellent verbal communication skills for influencing audiences
- Data centricity - an interest in how our programs impact Uber, and how to use data to support design decisions
- Go get it attitude - we work in a fast-paced environment and get things done quickly
- The ability to efficiently coordinate with various stakeholders - our offerings usually have a cross-functional nature
- Planning and Organization skills - much of your work will be around project planning initiatives
- Undergraduate degree specialization in Psychology/ HR/ Communications
- Relevant experience in People Development/ Talent Management/ Organization Development/ Human Resources/ Marketing and Communication

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $78,500 per year - $87,500 per year. For Dallas, TX-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $78,500 per year - $87,500 per year. For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $87,000 per year - $97,000 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $87,000 per year - $97,000 per year. For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $78,500 per year - $87,500 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
