This position will partner with the KCP Consumer Business leadership and Global Corporate Functions on the Inclusion, Equity and Diversity strategy and actionable plans in pursuit of achieving and exceeding business goals. Specifically, this role will be responsible for accelerating plans to prioritizes equity, diversity and inclusiveness at Kimberly Clark, by working closely with all levels of the organization to:

  • Ensure flawless execution of Global IE&D COE initiatives with in assigned business.
  • Set and implement the short mid-term IE&D initiatives that respond to specific needs in addition to the global strategic plan.
  • Partner with other COE partners, in learning, career and leadership development, employee experience, and culture to ensure that K-C culture of inclusion and belonging is a lived experience for all employees.
  • Promote simplification, alignment, and synergy across the matrix functions in order to deliver with speed and ensure a robust pipeline of capable and diverse talent.
  • Support myVoice survey actions to continuously engage and activate great interactions and experiences for talent growth and development.
  • Contribute to shareholder value and customer experience through strategic investment in people.

This role partners with and supports the HRVPs and IE&D champions dedicated to the business and corporate functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the IE&D business partner and in conjunction with the global COE function, lead IE&D culture and organization strategies across KCP Consumer Business and Corporate Functions to support the business and people strategy and priorities. This includes integration of IE&D into: Performance Management, Career Development, GM Accelerator, Talent Review, Succession Planning, Talent Slating, Learning/Development, Change Management/Org Design, Workforce Planning and implications for Talent Acquisition, Employee Engagement and Leadership Development.
  • Translate the global IE&D activation strategy into tactical plans with clear actions, accountability, and goals to promote best in class equitable practices consistent with a 70-30 emphasis.
  • Consults to improve our organization’s environment; ensuring Kimberly Clarks culture of We Care, We Act, and We Own proactively leverages multiple dimensions of diversity.
  • Build and maintain close working relationships with the global and regional COEs, HR leaders, business leaders and talent leaders across the enterprise to understand key business objectives, priorities, and direction.
  • Socialize annual IE&D strategic plan and roadmap with key internal stakeholders to ensure collective leadership input and alignment for executive leadership approval.
  • Provide operational and performance metrics of programs and services, monitoring and communicating the impact of initiatives on key metrics in alignment with BU OGISM, HR OGISM.
  • Review and analyze business unit data to identify trends with accountability for establishing and driving People Strategy dashboard metrics and recommending solutions to improve metric results across business unit.
  • Builds and grows relationships with national, local and specialized D&I organizations and professional development organizations, as is relevant to the fulfillment of the organization’s strategic action plan and goals.
  • Advisor for the Inclusiveness Council and employee resource groups. Ensures each has developed and executes on annual goals, strategies and action plans. Develop succession planning for group leadership.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in human resources, business or related disciplines, or equivalent experience preferred
  • 7+ years of experience professional work experience in workplace diversity, equity, inclusion & culture. Minimum of five years of experience with managing organizational diversity initiatives and ability to successfully engage in and manage community relationships required.
  • Must be self-initiating, exercise good judgment, and be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Proven influencing and relationship building skills with internal and external partners and people from various backgrounds and cultures.
  • Innovative and creative problem solver with the ability to analyze data towards strategic plans
  • Demonstrated effectiveness managing diverse stakeholders including but not limited to executives, employee groups, external vendors and consultants.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate metrics, research and trends into strategy and use metrics to measure impact of programs.
  • Candidate must be collaborative and creative.
  • Superior verbal, written, presentation, influence, and facilitation skills
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills required.
  • Able to manage with ambiguity and autonomy.
  • Strong project management and process management skills
  • Occasional local travel to events within the regional area.
