Assisted Living Facility Resident Aide/Med-Tech
Job description
Hawthorne Inn of Lakeland, an Assisted Living Facility located in Lakeland FL, is expanding our staff and therefore is seeking Resident Aide's and Med-Tech's to provide various resident care activities and related duties for the specific needs and comfort of residents as identified through resident assessment and described in the plan of care.

Shifts Available Include: 6a-2p, 2p-10p, and 10p-6a
Education:
- Certified Nurse Aide by the State preferred
- Med-Tech certification preferred
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience/ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public. Prior health care experience preferred.
- Must meet mandatory in-service hours by attending in-services provided by the facility
- Must be able to read, write, and speak the English language
- Must be able to work as a team member
- Maintaining confidentiality of all resident & facility data
- Must be caring, kind and patient with a positive attitude
- Observing Residents
- Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
- Taking care of a resident's personal hygiene
- Setting up of meal trays
- Assisting residents & serving nutritional supplements
- Making beds & keeping the residents' space clean and tidy
- Transporting residents within the Facility
