Job description

Responsibilities:

• Assist Teacher in the preparation of lesson plans, and outlines assigned areas.

• Assist in the implementation of individualized plans for the children in the classroom.

• Assist Teacher in evaluating the progress and development status of the children in the classroom.

• Ensure safe indoor and outdoor activities for children.

• Participates in professional development activities as agreed upon with supervisor and acquires current information pertaining to developmentally appropriate practices and other instructional strategies.

• Supervises the classroom for brief periods when the Teacher is out of the classroom.

• Adhere to the policies and procedures of the agency.

Requirements:

• Child Development Associate (CDA) or (ECE) Early Childhood Education Degree

• NYC DOE Fingerprinting

• Statewide Central Database clearance

• Mandated Reporter Certificate (CAM) and Infectious Disease Certificates

• Medical & Proof of Vaccination

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $33,814.00 - $35,494.00 per year
