Primary Responsibilities:
Daily communication with Superintendent/General Manager/Golf Professional on golf course condition and playability. Promotes Arcis Golf’s philosophies throughout the golf course to both employees and guests. Conducts monthly golf course audits. Must have knowledge of irrigation systems including programming, maintenance, troubleshooting, scheduling, moisture control, and pump station management. Must have the ability to troubleshoot agronomic problems that may occur on the golf course. Must be fully capable of application equipment calibration and operation. Must have a considerable understanding of golf course maintenance equipment. Responsible for the Human Resources functions of the maintenance department by controlling turnover, motivating employees, focusing on employee development and retention, and participating in regular employee meetings. Provides a professional image at all times through appearance and dress. Ensures the golf course complies with all federal, state, and local laws.
Note: Other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
1-2 years of management/supervision experience preferred. Proven experience operating golf course equipment and demonstrated outstanding customer service. Must possess a willingness to learn and perform new golf maintenance programs. Excellent communication and organizational skills, attention to detail, drive, and motivation. Flexibility with the schedule with evenings and weekend work required.
