Yoshinoya America is a wholly owned subsidiary of Yoshinoya Holdings, based in Japan. Yoshinoya America has quietly reinvented itself over the past 4 years under a new leadership team. New brand positioning, menu items, remodels, upgraded systems, and improved execution have resulted in comp-store sales increases of more than 30%. During the same period, the QSR segment has seen little if any sales growth. Our remaining stores will be remodeled this year as we start to open restaurants in new markets. The Opportunity
We have immediate opportunities for an Assistant Manager! At Yoshinoya, Managers have the responsibility for directing the daily operations of a fast-paced restaurant, enduring compliance with company standards in all areas of operations, including production, preparation, customer relations, restaurant maintenance, inventory management, team management, and ensuring the highest quality products and services are delivered to our customers, along with other duties as required. The person applying for this position must have excellent communication skills and able to multitask extremely well. They should be able to make decision independently and willing to learn.
Responsibilities
- Participating operationally in day-to-day activities in high-volume fast-paced restaurant.
- Offer the Team encouragement and create a positive work environment
- Offer immediate/respectful response to Guest's needs.
- Assist in training of new hires, set the tone for a shift, act as a role model for our team.
- Be a friendly encouraging team player
- Open and/or close, lead shifts, key holder.
- Count Drawers and Finalizing Day.
- Excellent Communication Skills both written and spoken.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years quick service restaurant management experience
- Strong leadership, supervisory, and communication skills
- Stable work experience with a history of progression
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and multitask throughout your workday
- Reliable transportation to work opening and closing shifts
