Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Excellent administrative, organizational, verbal, listening, and communication skills.

• Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Must maintain professional commitment to the Goddard play-based philosophy.
• Exhibit a positive and upbeat attitude while working in a fast-paced environment.
• Applicants should have a love of teaching, working with children, and have the desire to learn and grow within the early childhood education field.
• A thorough knowledge of WA Licensing regulations (WACs) for child care centers and a great understanding of developmentally-appropriate practices
• Applicants for this position must be willing to work full-time 8:30am – 5:30pm with a 1-hour lunch break.
• Spark imagination, build self-esteem and help children discover new things each day.

Applicants Must Have or Be Willing to Obtain:

• A degree or coursework in ECE (or a related field)
• At least 1 year of experience teaching in Early Childhood Education.

- The following required prerequisite: Negative Tb Test, CPR/First Aid, Blood Borne Pathogens Training, WA State - Food Handlers, and proof of MMR immunization.
