Job description
As a valued member of our team, the Assets Fleet Coordinator will implement, maintain, and follow policies & procedures related to company owned vehicles. This includes the coordination and scheduling of vehicle transfers and internal rentals.

Essential Functions:
  • Track and log all vehicle transfers, scrap, sells and purchases.
  • Ensure data systems are updated timely and accurately.
  • Create processes of tracking assets effectively.
  • Conduct site visits to verify and catalog assets.
  • Coordinate approvals for vehicle transfers and internal rentals.
  • Handle all equipment and vehicle license & registration (DMV) requirements.
  • Heavy Vehicle Use tax filing.
  • Handle and maintain Fuel cards.
  • Handle and maintain Toll Road account.
  • Will assist maintenance office staff as needed.
  • Responsible for answering and routing all incoming calls.
  • Communicate effectively and courteously with all contacts - internal and external.
  • Perform all other tasks and projects that are necessary for the success of the business and/or assigned by management.
Position Type/Expected Hours of WorkThis is a full-time position. General days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, hours to be determined. Not eligible for remote work. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.

Pay $23 - $28 per hour based on experience.
Non-Essential Duties:
  • Assists in the preparation of reports as required.
  • Ensures all transportation laws and regulations are met.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to communicate with others to convey information effectively.
Travel Required: Estimated 25%

Required Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
  • Minimum 1 year of dispatching experience preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft office, Excel, Outlook or related software.

Additional Eligibility Qualifications
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish plus.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. The employee is regularly exposed to wet or slippery ground conditions. Employee must wear required personal protective equipment; up to and including safety vest, hard hat, ear protection, gloves and safety glasses.
