Functional Pathways is seeking a driven and dynamic individual to fill our Area Vice President of Business Development- Central State Territory role.

The Area Vice President of Business Development is responsible for the sales of Functional Pathways therapy solutions to Skilled Nursing Facilities, Continuing Care Retirement Communities and Multi-site corporate chains.

Competitive Salary plus commission along with a full benefits package available.

In this role, the Area Vice President of Business Development will ensure profitable growth in sales, revenue through planning, execution and management of their assigned territory.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proven success leading territory sales functions on behalf of large complex organizations in fast-paced industries.
  • Central States Territory: MN, MO, KS, IA, OK
  • Hunter mindset with creative approach to prospecting
  • Meet or exceed new business sales goals
  • A good understanding of the market dynamics in the Central States
  • Develop sales strategies and planning for assigned territory
  • Disciplined Pipeline Management through company CRM platform
  • Experience managing multi-state territory
  • Drive Corporate Chain opportunities in assigned territory
  • Forecast and analyze sales data.
  • Regular reporting of KPI’s to RVP/VP Business Development.
  • Self-starter with ability to operate with limited supervision
  • Strong ability to network and build a “wolfpack”
  • Manage and perform required activity KPI’s
  • Work with operations to build referral network with exisitng client base.
  • Team player and contributor to the overall team success

Minimum Qualifications and Competencies:

  • BA/BS in Business or related concentration; graduate degree, preferred.
  • 5+ years of directly related sales experience.
  • C-level sales experience and within the LTC space to include Skilled Nursing and Life Plan Community relationships.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Word®, Outlook®, Excel®, and PowerPoint®
  • Strong background in building partnerships with centers of influence and industry partners
  • Oral and written communication skills which provide a strong and confident executive presence.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
