Area Supervisor

Pay

M-F, hours will vary

Function

Ensure customer service is performed and delivered according to contracted specifications within region and company policies, procedures, systems, and training. Assist in achieving financial goals for the account within the region and company guidelines.

Education

High school diploma. Read and write English.

Experience

Demonstrate proficiency in all basic functions of the direct reports. Demonstrate ability to work with people, including customers. Prefer experience in training others. One year supervising others; creating and managing employee work schedules; knowledge of industry related state and federal regulations; operating within budgetary guidelines; maintaining employee and customer satisfaction and relationships.

  • Visually inspect assigned area for completion of assigned tasks and make corrections and recommendations for improvements (such as see stains, spots, streaks, dust, trash, or small items on floor within 10 feet
  • Lift 25 lbs. unassisted
  • Train others. Coach success through others.
  • Ability to communicate with immediate supervisor, employees, and customer.
  • Give and receive instructions.
  • Create and achieve measurable goals.
  • Motivate others.
  • Develop cohesive teams and positive work environments.
  • Operate accounts within budgetary guidelines.
  • Make decisions and solve problems.
  • May require a specific second language based on the workforce.

Scope

On a day-to-day basis the Supervisor is responsible for the following in the account they are assigned to:

  • Coordinating personnel assignments and performing work per specifications,
  • Developing, training, and supervising employees,
  • Conducting, attending, and participating in employee meetings,
  • Anticipating and responding to employee and customer concerns,
  • Conducting on-site inspections,
  • Operating within account budget,
  • Ensuring compliance with safety programs and processes,
  • Investigating, reporting, and analyzing accidents and incidents.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • A minimum of two (2) or more years of service industry experience
  • Able to communicate effectively & professionally with customers, co-workers & management, bi-lingual a plus.
  • Ability to resolve conflict in an effective & professional manner.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Required Work Authorization in the United States, FBG conducts E-Verify on all new employees.
  • Background check and drug screen (EXCEPT MJ) required for all new employees.
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
