At Epiroc USA LLC, our Parts and Services (PSD) Division provides a broad range of services with the aim of maximizing customers’ productivity. We focus on spare parts supply, professional service, support solutions and training. This open Apprentice Technician position will be based in Tucson, AZ.
As an Apprentice Technician, you are committed to your development as a professional Epiroc USA employee. This commitment involves twenty-four (24) months of technical and related formal training in the disciplines’ required to develop a professional Epiroc USA Service Technician.

Highlights of the program are:
Apprentices are full time employees of Epiroc USA- On the Job (OJT) training takes up the majority of time in the program, and takes place at the primary service center location
- The final 6 months of the program is tailored to develop skills that are most needed by the various divisions providing product support to customers
- Apprentices are paired with experienced technicians each day they are working at the service center or customer’s job site
- Each apprentice will be paired with a mentor
- Performance reviews take place after 30 days and then periodically throughout the 24 month program; satisfactory performance is a condition of continued employment
Upon graduating from the apprenticeship, you will be capable of providing the highest quality workmanship and best practices consistent with Epiroc USA quality standards.
The work environment includes being regularly exposed to work near moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and outdoor weather conditions. Noise protection is required in this role. This position is considered Safety Sensitive.
Requirements:
- Completion of a technical program, completion of military service with technical training background, completion of an accepted secondary technical program, or other merited background to support consideration
- Must own basic hand tools to permit completion of maintenance tasks
- Valid, active driver’s license is required
- Must be detail oriented and highly organized
- Commit to Safety and related Best Practices
- Maintaining courteous and professional demeanor and communication with customers and internal staff at all times
- Residency in the Tucson, AZ area

Pay Range:
$19.00 - $25.00 per hour (This is a hourly paid position with overtime eligibility. Compensation determination based upon job related factors, such as experience, education, geographic location and other criterion).
