The IT Applications Management Advisor position is a key player in the Corporate Apps team and requires a strong technical foundation with a strong commitment to deliver Enterprise solutions. It focuses on using various integration platforms and technologies to connect data and applications.


This role requires a highly motivated contributor who will apply technology expertise to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.


This position is in Houston, TX and reports to the IT Manager, Applications


What you’ll do:

  • Design, develop and maintain integrations and processes based on BOOMI, SAP CPI and .NET platforms and on native integration
  • Manage and maintain the BOOMI environments
  • Ensure data from multiple systems is correctly collected and transformed
  • Prioritize and sequence deliverable appropriately to meet business expectations
  • Drive quick resolution on support requests, working independently and with other IT team members located in Houston and Offshore.
  • Develop strong relationships with internal customers and other stakeholders that is based on trust, transparency and continuously improvement
  • Ability to communicate effectively and coordinate with onsite business users and offshore development team to accomplish tasks
  • Back-up other Applications team members as necessary
  • This highly motivated individual should be ready to take upon new assignments according to the business needs

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science or its equivalent
  • 7+ years minimum of relevant experience
  • Soft Skills required
    • Distinctive problem solving, analytical skills, and intellectual curiosity
    • Superior attention to detail and quality
    • Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders
    • Ability to work independently
  • Hands-on development and support required with:
    • BOOMI: new processes with various types of connectors: SFTP, SQL Server, Disc, etc.
    • BOOMI administration
    • .Net Framework including: C# / VB.Net, Web APIs, SQL Server Reporting Service (SSRS), SQL Server integration service (SSIS)
  • Significant experience with the following highly preferred
    • Relational Database Management Systems: SQL/Oracle stored procedures, TSQL scripts, standard SQL scripts
    • SAP CPI and Groovy scripting
    • API management using standards protocols: SOAP, REST, Odata
    • WinSCP script, PGP Encryption / Decryption, RDP, Windows Task Scheduler, Windows Services
  • Experience with the following a plus
    • SAP CDS and HANA scripting
    • Python scripting
    • SAP Transaction codes related to Master Data: Cost Center, WBS, Sales Order, Employee Master, etc.
    • Integration between SAP S/4 and other SAP and non SAP platforms
    • Integration between SuccessFactors and other HR systems

  • Salary Range: $92,395 – 236,600 USD, annually
  • Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors
  • In addition to salary, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan
