Currently seeking experienced apartment maintenance tech to work temp/temp to temp to perm at an apartment community in the Pittsburgh, PA area. Experienced, qualified candidates will have apartment maintenance experience, construction, plumbing, electrical work. HVAC experience and or EPA certification a PLUS. NEED IMMEDIATELY.

Responsibilities of the Apartment Maintenance Technician

• Perform basic electrical, plumbing, appliance repair, carpentry, masonry and painting
• Responsible for repairing and treating structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls and building exteriors
• Provide excellent customer service to client, residents and other staff members
• Respond to resident service requests in an accurate and timely manner
• Make ready units for new move-ins
• Schedule and complete preventative maintenance program annually
• Complete grounds work such as: grounds pick up, sweeping and light landscaping
• Coordinate special projects as directed
• HVAC or EPA certified a plus
• 1 year residential multi family experienced a plus

Requirements of the Apartment Maintenance Technician

• A minimum of 2 years maintenance experience at an apartment community or the like
• Make ready as well as apartment repairs and groundskeeping
• Valid Driver's License
• Reliable Transportation
• Have the necessary basic tools to effectively complete tasks outlined above
• HVAC experience

Salary: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
