FILTRONtec GmbH is a leading German company specializing in the field of high-volume airflow particle and gaseous pollutant mitigation. Our core expertise lies in the development and manufacturing of innovative air filtration systems tailored for road tunnels, metro stations, and various underground constructions, including car parks. With the World Health Organization (WHO) recently revising the limits on fine particle pollution due to the escalating number of air pollution-related fatalities, we are actively seeking to enter the US market. To facilitate this endeavor, we are currently looking for a highly qualified National Sales Manager (m/f/d) for the East Coast who will play a pivotal role in establishing our subsidiary company in the United States.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive market research to assess the demand for tunnel air filters in the US.
- Proactively educate road tunnel operators and engineering consultants about the innovative air filtration technology we offer.
- Gather valuable data on existing intra-urban road tunnels and those in the planning stage.
- Engage in fruitful collaborations with manufacturers specializing in tunnel air fans.
- Identify and strategically target potential customers who can benefit from our advanced air filtration products.
- Foster and cultivate strong relationships with architects, city planners, and industrial fan manufacturers.
- Collaborate closely with our technical team in Germany to develop preliminary designs of air filtration plants tailored to the specific needs of US customers.
- Provide technical support and expertise to potential customers and partners across the US.
- Actively participate in trade fairs and conferences to effectively showcase our products and solidify our brand presence in the US market.
- Oversee the establishment of a subsidiary company, ensuring all necessary steps are taken to lay a solid foundation for success.
Desired Profile:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, industrial engineering, business administration, or a relevant field.
- Proven track record in technical sales, preferably within the air filtration industry.
- Profound technical understanding of air filtration technology, HVAC systems, and ventilation technology.
- Established network of contacts within city planning administrations, fostering valuable connections.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for sales and business development, driven by achieving exceptional results.
- Flexibility to travel extensively within the US to meet clients and attend relevant industry events.
- Highly motivated and self-driven, displaying resilience and determination to accomplish targets.
