Job duties:
- The Administrative Coordinator I provides complex and confidential support to the Regional Director for the Midlands Region. Provides administrative support to Regional Director and staff under Child Welfare Services - Midlands Region.
Coordinates with Service Coordinators, Supervisors and Providers to ensure accuracy of information on Service Tracking forms and in CAPSS or PCMS. Authorizes special pay to placement providers for missed or incorrect payments upon receipt of necessary information from Case Managers. Problem solves provider concerns and assists data coordinators in resolving issues. Assists in the provision of training of new staff on contract and procurement issues as requested.
Receives and reviews WRAP service bills. Distributes and routes paperwork to secure necessary approval signatures and then forwards to State Office for payment.
Develops and maintains files of contracts for client services, contractual providers and requisitions, keeping ISCEDC clients, WRAP service clients and Special Needs clients in a separate filing system.
Monitors data trends for accuracy and assessment of county and/or regional needs. Communicates with County Directors and providers that make requests of the Team Leaders. Assists with developing of resources and problem solving various issues within the region. Stands in the absence of the Team Leader for meetings and/or presentations as necessary.
Performs Red Cross shelter duty or other emergency shelter duty/services as directed.
Agency Requirements:
A High School Diploma and six (6) years of experience in business management, public administration or administrative services.
An Associate's Degree and four (4) years of experience in business management, public administration or administrative services.
A Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of experience in business management, public administration or administrative services.
A Master's Degree and one (1) year of experience in business management, public administration or administrative services.
