Position: Sr. Acquisition Specialist (R&D) 1897
Location: Springfield, VA
Clearance: TS/SCI

Sample Duties:

• Provide knowledge and experience of DoD acquisition, including the Planning, Programming, and Budget Execution (PPBE) and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) processes.
• Understanding and experience in pre-Award activities including the development of Acquisition documentation (Special Notices, RFIs, RFPs, BAA solicitations, market research, IGCEs, SOWs, SOOs, PWSs). Experience in source selection/scientific review evaluation process for R&D.

Required:

• BA/BS, MA/MS or PhD in business, management, systems management, public administration, or greater than or equal to 15 years of work experience.

Desired:

• Technical Degree in physics, mathematics, chemistry, computer science, or engineering or dual major with business, management, systems management
• Acquisition experience in the US Government as a Government civilian or military.
• Familiarity with NGA's acquisition systems and policy, including Orbit, PRISM, and
• Research Acquisition System (RAS) or similar financial systems
