Accounts Payable Specialist - $20-$25/HR

This is a contract position with an opportunity to be hired full-time.

Integrity Trade Services is hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist for a leading supplier of drilling products to start at $20 to $25 per hour. Receive comprehensive benefits through ITS upon hire!

Accounts Payable Specialist Job Summary:

Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for entering invoices in JDE to help ensure company payment obligations are met timely and accurately. The Accounts Payable department is a fast-paced environment where they will be working daily with the business unit.

Accounts Payable Specialist Top Skills Required:

· Knowledge of ERP Systems, specifically JD Edwards

· Recent experience working in a high volume work environment

· Strong communication skills – written and verbal

· High attention to detail

· Demonstrates an importance in teamwork in previous positions

Accounts Payable Specialist Responsibilities:

· Accounting experience

· Managing accounts payable using JDE Software

· Handling accounts payable for different ledgers

· Verifying the remit to address on the invoices to ensure it matches to what's in the system (JDE) before vouching the invoice to ensure payments are sent to the correct address.

· Analyzing workflow processes

· Establishing and maintaining relationships with the operations and management

· Ensuring Invoices are in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures

· Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges

· Focus on reducing backlog

Location: Houston, TX (West side/Richmond Ave.)

Schedule/Shift Details/Duration

Monday - Friday 6:30am to 3:30pm or 7:00am to 4:00pm. No remote or hybrid schedule available.

Accounts Payable Specialist Qualifications:

· Able to handle high volume entry

· Able to function in both a team setting as well as independently

· Strong organizational and planning skills.

· Assist with special projects or assignments as directed by management

· Problem identification and resolution skills.

· Written and verbal communication skills.
