The Role:

The H+H Group is growing! We have an immediate opening for an Accounting Clerk on our Central Support Accounting Team. This role provides opportunities to:

  • Perform technical accounting duties such as recording, processing, and reporting of transactions, inventory, revenue, and other functions.
  • Review, research, reconcile, and assure the accuracy of schedules, ledgers, and accounts.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking skills and collaborate with team members.

Area of Responsibility:

  • Daily bank deposit processing and recording for multiple locations.
  • Perform monthly reconciliations of various schedules as assigned.
  • Process/record vehicles sold at auction.
  • Monitor, initiate and record daily transactions for vehicle floorplan accounts.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations for multiple accounts.

What you bring to the table:

  • Associates Degree or higher in Accounting or Business with an emphasis in Accounting.
  • Strong work ethic with an emphasis on integrity, time management, accountability, efficiency, teamwork, and thoroughness.
  • The ability to analyze and perform complex calculations.
  • Strong Customer Experience and people skills.
  • Be knowledgeable of basic accounting and reconciling processes.
  • Be detailed oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
  • The ability to effectively communicate with internal and external Customers, in person, over the phone, and via fax or email.
  • The ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
  • The ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
