Cummings & Lockwood LLC, a law firm with offices in Connecticut and Florida, is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented full-time Accounting Clerk for its Stamford office. This position requires the employee to be in the office daily.

The Accounting Clerk will be trained on a variety of daily tasks; i.e. Accounts Payable, Expense Reimbursement, Trust Accounting, Bank Reconciliation, Billing and Reporting

DUTIES INCLUDE:

• Performing a variety of accounting tasks in a law firm environment
• General accounting functions, reconciling credit card statements
• Assisting with accounts payable
• Communicating with partners, vendors, clients and internal employees
• Other tasks as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Accounting and/or law firm experience a plus, but not required
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to learn new processes and build technical skills
• Solid team player
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced office
• Strong attention to detail
• Self-starter; ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Good judgment and decision-making ability
• Degree in Accounting or Finance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
