THE EYE INSTITUTE is a busy ophthalmic practice in HEALTH_CARE_MEDICAL. We are a professional, dedicated and caring practice.

Full time accountant/bookkeeper for busy ophthalmic practice.

Main focus –

Maintains the business accounts through QuickBooks. Ensures credit card, checks and cash deposits are recorded properly. Enters invoices and creates checks as directed. Prepares reports as requested by accountants.

Essential functions include by are not limited to:

1. Enter invoices in Quick Books.

2. Prepares checks, with back up, for doctors’ signature.

3. Records payroll and maintains records.

4. Completes bank reconciliation for all accounts.

5. Maintain lines of credit with detail of how funds are used.

6. Check bank for ACH activity and record same in Quick Books.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Reports any areas of concern to the practice administrator.

2. Works as a team member within the ophthalmology department and all other departments.

3. Multi-tasks efficiently and effectively.

4. Always maintains professional appearance and personal conduct.

5. Adjusts daily to team needs.

6. Accepts assignments as workload requires.

7. Adheres to EAW rules, policies and procedures.

Skills:

1. Ability to be compassionate and respectful to all.

2. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

3. Knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting rules.

4. Knowledge of medical terminology.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,589.00 - $55,638.00 per year
