Account Specialist

Location: Waukesha, WI (Hybrid)

Be the primary contact for order management support in the Food & Beverage industry. Develop and deliver customer solutions that align with our business strategies and meet the highest standards of customer satisfaction.

Your key responsibilities

  • Primary contact for Food & Beverage order management support, coordinate order status, availability, pricing, and delivery to customers, and proactively communicate supply issues.
  • Handle order entry, allocation, returns, invoice disputes, and credit adjustments.
  • Collaborate with the Food & Beverage business unit and commercial management to ensure accurate and timely delivery commitments.
  • Respond to web Live Help inquiries and record and follow up on customer logistics and quality complaints in a designated global database.
  • Maintain customer web accounts in the Customer Portal and update contact information in SAP for customers and customer/material content.


You bring

  • BA or BS degree, or equivalent experience, and be knowledgeable in SAP sales and distribution (SD) module functions, including invoicing, credits/debits, and return goods processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and internet portals is required.
  • A strong understanding of production planning (PP), material management (MM), inventory management (IM), logistics, and ERP systems processes is essential.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years' experience in related areas, such as marketing, sales, customer service, and technical services, with demonstrated knowledge of dietary supplements, food applications, and personal care preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and negotiation skills, conflict management skills, and organizational skills are necessary.


This position offers DSM Hybrid Working model, working in the office and the remaining weekdays at a home office.
