Job Overview
The Account Executive will have responsibilities involved in all aspects for managing sales opportunities from lead generation through opportunity closing, ongoing client management, and renewals. This may involve cold calling, remote and onsite meetings, technical presentations and demonstrations, proposal writing, and CRM utilization. The ideal candidate thrives on moving sales opportunities through the sales process to closing and ongoing management and possesses a desire to surpass sales quotas. The Account Executive is an important role at Teren and reports to the Director of Sales.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to work across the organization to understand our value proposition, will work with the team to communicate that message effectively to the markets we serve, and will drive growth in revenue and market penetration.

Responsibilities
- Managing opportunities throughout the sales process
- Technology presentations/demonstrations
- Remote and onsite meetings with prospects and customers
- Cold calling into existing and new markets
- Attend industry events
- Work with marketing on a variety of tasks
- Collaborate across multiple departments to ensure customer success
Competitive Candidate Attributes
- 3+ years sales experience in B2B, enterprise sales
- Proven track record of sales success
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple ongoing sales-related activities
- Technology proficient and quick learner
- Work experience in GIS/Software/SaaS/Enterprise Sales
Location & Travel
- This is a remote position serving North America. Primary markets include Denver, Houston, and Appalachia.
- Travel will be required. Typical travel is 50% for most reps. Actual travel may vary based on location. Must have a valid driver's license.
Extra Awesome Qualifications
- Experience selling into Energy, Renewables, Insurance, or related markets.
- Ability to paint a compelling technology picture and get prospects excited on the differentiating nature of Teren solutions.
- Strong analytical, project management, and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Experience with Geospatial/Remote Sensing Technology.

- Exempt position with a base salary of $85,000-$100,000 with commission variable $75,000
