Accounts Payable Clerk
What We Need
FLEETCOR is currently looking to hire an Accounts Payable Clerk within our CLC division. This position falls under our Lodging line of business and is located in Wichita, KS. In this role, you will support the A/P department with daily/weekly vendor payments, analysis, and virtual card maintenance. Virtual card analysis must be updated weekly and provided to Finance Director for end of month journal entries. This position will also assist the A/R Manager with cash applications if needed. You will report directly to the Accounting Director and regularly collaborate with other teams and departments.

As an Account Payable Clerk, you will be expected to work in an office environment. FLEETCOR will set you up for success by providing:
· Assigned workspace in Wichita, KS

· Formal, hands-on training
Role Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the role will include:
· Preparing and maintaining virtual card analysis
· Identifying vendors not paid, or paid incorrectly
· Working with operations to correct discrepancies
· Voiding payments as necessary to reissue payment in other forms
· Providing supervisor with accurate virtual cards unpaid for end of month journal entry
· Assisting A/P with daily payables needs (back up A/P department with check runs, daily electronic payments, weekly HotelBeds invoices, input of payments into Great Plains, etc)
Qualifications & Skills
· Good communication skills both written and verbal
· Knowledge and proficiency in excel and Microsoft Office required – experience with pivot tables & formulas, vlookup
· Will need to learn oracle, iConnect system, Talon both AR and AP, Great Plains
· Ad hoc reporting as requested by supervisor
· Detail Oriented – Accuracy is essential
· Team player
· Knowledge of basic accounting. No degree required, but accounting experience necessary
· Must demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness, monitoring own work to ensure quality
