Marrakech is looking for staff to work with our wonderful participants with developmental disabilities, physical, behavioral or other needs in a group home setting. We seek nurturing people who will provide care with respect and dignity as well as promote independence and community integration. Direct Support Professional at Marrakech to support individuals receiving services from Marrakech to live the fullest and rewarding life that they choose. Employees are expected to complete all in-service trainings as required by DDS & Marrakech.Applicant must have a HS Diploma, Valid CT Driver’s License, registered and insured vehicle, Proof of Employment Eligibility, Able to obtain PMT, CPR and state medication certification, Flexibility, A Commitment to treating people with dignity and respect, Be a team player, have the ability to listen and communicate with others & a positive attitude. Direct Support Professionals must: Advocate for the individuals that we support. Complete daily necessary documentation regarding medical, behavioral, dietary and therapeutic supports. Assure that the personal care needs of the individuals are met.
