Department Overview
- Help in the production of the firm’s financial statements.
- Partner with regulatory reporting and stress testing teams to understand how different metrics are reported to the firms external regulatory bodies (Fed Reserve, OCC, etc).
- Collaborate with front office and other parts of the firm to drive business decisions.
- Learn about different products across trading and banking.
- Front to end operational support for all Fixed Income Products, including trade capture, new issues, middle office, settlements and fail management activities.
- Participate in a variety of internal business functions under the operations management; these typically include data analysis, operational risk exposure, reporting, process optimization and client service support.
- Proactively support TD Securities’ sales and trading businesses to achieve sustainable strategies, operating practices and governance aligned with regulatory requirements and Bank policies and appetite.
Requirements
- Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.
Qualifications
- Graduation date between December 2022 to June 2023 (undergraduate degree)
- All majors welcome, but significant coursework in a business-related field is required
- Strong financial/analytical skills, knowledge of MS Excel preferred
- Familiarity with Intelligent Automation tools ( Alteryx, Python, and/or Tableau)
- Well-organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines and establish priorities with minimal supervision
- Proactive and highly motivated
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Successful candidates must have the capacity to become adept at financial modeling
- Able to work effectively in a team environment and independently
