Job description
This certified teaching position is to teach English to K-3 students enrolled in our Mandarin Dual Language Immersion (DLI) classes. The time of the English instruction varies by grade level. They would receive their Mandarin instruction from their homeroom DLI teacher.This teacher will work with these students each day to increase their reading abilities.
This staff member will hold high expectations for success for all of his/her students and work effectively with the Mandarin teachers, Marvin Elementary support staff, and administration to help all students to succeed.
Experience in teaching reading, working with small groups of student is preferred. The ability to speak or write in Mandarin is not required.
