Work Now Staffing is looking to hire Material Handlers for our Romeoville client.

Shift: 1st shift - 6:00am-2:30pm, Monday – Friday

Pay: $16.00 per hour

Job Details:

• Transports recyclable and non-recyclable waste from printing presses to truck trailer and/or compactor manually or by use of fork truck (must have some sort of FL experience)
• Operates compactor equipment following set compact procedures for safety
• Moves office recyclable materials to appropriate containers
• Sweeps floor and performs other duties to maintain a clean work area
• Assists press operators in the replacement of paper rolls, filling of hot melt bin and other duties as required
• Shrink wraps skids of finished goods for storage or transport
• Transports raw and/or finished goods between warehouse and production area following material handler procedures
• Performs work safely and participates in any and all safety programs instituted by the company
• Assists Waste Management in outdoor clean-up when compactor is changed out
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Physical Demands:

• At a minimum, the individual must be able to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50lbs.

Requirements:

• 1yr of Standup, Sit-down, or Clamp forklift experience
• Light background check (nothing violent – 5 years)
• Mouth swab drug screen
• Must be able to take directions in English
• No loose-fitting clothes, no jewelry, no long fingernails
• Must be able to lift from 30 – 50 lbs. consistently
• Temp to hire
• Will be required to clean up work areas on down time
• Interview required
• Steel Toes Required
