This candidate will be primarily responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using our state-of-the-art digital X-ray imaging equipment.
Job Details:
- Location: 3371 Cleveland Avenue, Columbus, OH.
- Rate: $30 per hour.
- Hours: Negotiable based on mutually agreed upon schedule.
- Current X-ray tech certification
- Prior Experience with digital X-rays preferred
- Radiologic Technologist will prepare and position the patient for X-ray imaging procedures using digital equipment.
- Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain patient cooperation.
- Practice radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patients and staff.
- Prepare images for reading by Radiologist.
- Position patients to best display the affected area and minimize unnecessary exposure to radiation and least aggravation of any injury.
- Selects proper technical factors on an individual patient basis, and makes a visual inspection of technical factors before each exposure is made.
