THE ROLE

The role of the working student is to support on all the factettes of daily lab routines ranging from raw material ordering over product making and basic product performance testing to analytical lab tests (i.e. pH, viscosity, density, appearance).

There will be the opportunity to manage specific projects independently, including planning and execution

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Organization and preparation of substrate/hair for basic lab testing and more sophisticated measurements
• Execution & documentation of measurements
• Analysis and evaluation of the results
• Help to develop and execute product demo ideas
• Administrative support

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ongoing scientific studies, ideally in final year
• Good practical laboratory skills. Good attention to detail and ability to write accurate lab records
• Ideally experience of laboratory batch making and experience on lab test methods. Standard tests include pH, density, rheology
• Proficient in data analysis and ~management and word processing
• Organised and structured working approach & the ability to work independently in a reliable and careful way, “hands-on” mentality
• Enthusiastic and collaborative team player who enjoys working in multi-cultural & diverse teams across departments, regions & globe
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Good communication skills - written and verbal, Fluent in English
