Learn various job functions within the Managed Care industry and explore various career opportunities
Apply academic knowledge and learn new skills by contributing to various projects
Research various legal, regulatory, and other topics within functional area and industry
Attend training and development presentations to enhance professional competencies

What is the purpose of this internship? Participating with the Workforce Management and Command Center teams in supporting our Claims Operations organization through data entry and data analysis.

Why is this role appealing? Selected interns will have the opportunity to work for a large organization and become familiar with team structures, data, and tools that power an expansive fulfillment operation.

What aspects of the role and team will candidates be most interested in? Data analysis opportunities and the introduction to business analysis tools (and their application).

What team/department will they be working on? The Workforce Management team and the Claims Command Center within the Enterprise Business Operations Services (EBOS) division.\

Duties:
1. Compiling and analyzing productivity data
2. Performing data entry into our employee profile system
3. Maintaining, enriching, and sanitizing employee profile system data that is errant or outdated
4. Researching penalties and interested associated with claims payments

Experience/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in Business Administration, Computer Science, or Finance.
