Job Description


The People Analytics team is growing quickly as we scale insights to all roles across the company. Join a highly-skilled team to collaborate with and develop unique solutions. This role will have the opportunity to lead the persona-based strategy of leveraging Workday dashboards and creating a one-stop experience for each of our key customer groups.

They will need to partner with COEs and our Functional / Regional partners to ensure we are delivering on the right business questions. They will need to partner with our People Systems team to ensure we align on key business processes and security strategies. They will also need to partner with our People Analytics team to ensure alignment with other persona-based dashboards outside of Workday, as well as understanding frequent data requests.

They will also be responsible for marketing these dashboard products, finding opportunities to highlight these in employee communications and connecting to our broader People Strategy. They will need to review utilization and hold focus groups to get feedback on making these dashboards more intuitive and helpful.

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Ownership of persona-based Workday Dashboards, creating the vision of what should be kept in Workday, and what should be shared in other Dashboard products and tools across Visa
  • Helping develop ServiceNow knowledge articles helping describe the tools available and how to leverage our Workday Dashboards
  • Provide requirements to People Systems regarding security needs to deploy dashboards, and source opportunities to link key business processes in frequently used dashboards
  • Partner with COEs to align on requirements and embed the dashboards in program communications
  • Conduct trainings and product demonstrations to educate users on Dashboard capabilities
  • Hold focus groups to collect feedback from volunteers within our personas
  • Review utilization and frequent data requests to continue to evolve deliverables in the dashboards
  • Acting as an internal consultant by understanding business needs, scoping data requests, synthesizing insights, and recommending solutions to key business partners in collaboration with other members of the people analytics team
  • Managing multiple concurrent projects that require inputs from cross-functional stakeholders while balancing impact on business needs
  • Leveraging tools, such as Workday, ServiceNow, Powerpoint, and Excel to develop solutions and conduct research
  • Communicating roadmaps of new personas or new features that are planned to be developed

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 4 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or at least 2 years of work experience with a PhD.
  • Experience working with Workday Data Sources, building custom reports & dashboards
  • Experience with user research, building persona-based solutions

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior consulting or corporate experience focused on using data to uncover insights that drive action and communicating analyses to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience in Workday security, understanding configurations to enable dashboard and report development
  • Experience in Workday functional modules, such as Talent Management, Recruiting, Payroll, and Compensation and understanding the specific data sources and business objects.
  • Experience working in an agile environment, breaking down work into various tasks, identifying dependencies, and managing capacity through a sprint planning process
  • Experience in Roadmap development and communicating a vision for opportunities

Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 101,800.00 to 132,300.00 USD, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
