this position is a seasonal role for The Water Park at Margaritaville Lanier Islands. The park opens for the summer season May 13th, 2023!

SUMMARY: Responsible for the cleanliness of all the recreation common areas, which includes but is not limited to restrooms, sidewalks, parking lots, beach area, pool decks and more. This position is responsible for the emptying of trash receptacles, cleanliness of the dumpster areas, and operating a trash compactor. Needs to be friendly, task oriented, and have a team mentality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Clean trash up from in and around the waterpark

Provide customer service and working knowledge of the park

Clean restrooms

Maintain a clean workspace

Clean spills, food, and other fluids around the park

Work with cleaning supplies/chemicals

Patrol the park constantly cleaning

Other duties may be assigned

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position has no supervisory responsibilities but has the potential for growth.

QUALIFICATIONS

Self-motivated with an attention for detail

Organized

Needs to be a clean person whom is safety minded

Willing to work weekends and holidays

At least 16 years of age or 18 years of age with clean MVR to drive company vehicles

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in both written and verbal form. Ability to deal with problems involving many variables.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

None required. Must be at least 16 years of age. 18 or older with a clean Motor Vehicle Record to drive department golf cart and trucks.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and complete reports detailing work related activities. Ability to effectively present information and give directions with customers and employees.

Common Area Attendants are frequently required to stand, walk, run, climb, balance, sit, talk, hear, and reach, handle, or feel. The associate is occasionally required to lift and or move 50 pounds or more.
