Packer/Warehouse Worker

Hiring for **FULL TIME** Positions for All Shifts:

1st (8am - 4pm)

2nd (4pm - midnight)

Location: Prepac Whitsett

Summary: We are currently seeking a packer/warehouse worker to add to our growing team in Whitsett, where you will pack finished product in accordance with standard packaging procedures, while maintaining quality standards and efficient production. Our ideal candidate is exceptionally detail-oriented and able to track and complete multiple facets of product packaging. By utilizing your strong communication skills and attention to detail, you'll help us prepare our products for shipment.

Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Key Duties/Responsibilities:

· Understand and follow all safety rules.

· Understand and follow quality standards and procedures.

· Check that the quality and quantity of the parts being produced are correct and clean and touchup when required.

· Retrieve and stack parts and cover boards and move them between buffers and work centers.

· Retrieve raw materials and shop supplies from storage areas.

· Sort, weigh and bag hardware.

· Assemble boxes including folding and stapling.

· Lift and place parts, hardware, instruction sheets and protective packing materials in boxes and tape boxes closed and attach lip labels.

· Lift and stack finished product and parts between conveyor and pallets.

· Assemble product for the first off inspection.

· Wrap parts in protective foam.

· Paint parts, tape backer, assemble box spacers and use hand tools.

· Understand and be able to perform a machine emergency stop.

· Load and unload parts on machines.

· Clean up.

· Perform all other general laboring duties that may be required from time to time.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Must be able to independently structure and organize regular working activities
• Must be able to follow detailed procedures and recognize detailed differences in product
• Must be flexible and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Must be able to work in a team environment
• Must follow all safety regulations
• Standing, walking, bending, and stooping required- often for long periods of time.
• Must be able to regularly lift and move 10 pounds and up to 25 pounds.
