JOB DESCRIPTION:

Title : Processor/Warehouse Worker
Location : Fairburn, GA - 30213
Duration : 06+ Months contract (Temp to Hire)
Shift Time : Shift 1 Sun - Wed (10am to 9pm)/ Sun-Thu (6pm-2am)

Roles & Responsibilities:

High school diploma or GED equivalentThe physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs., bend, squat, push, pull, stand in one place for a long period of time, and work in confined spaced the ability to work with sharp instruments used for cutting.Responsible for managing or performing work associated with converting raw materials and components into finished goods including:General production manufacturing workAssembling finished components or parts into finished productsProcess manufacturing batches of bulk materials/ingredients including mechanical processing (e.g., mixing, grinding, separating, filtering, etc.) and chemical processing (altering the chemical properties of materials through chemical reactions and changing temperature, pressure, etc.)Setting up and operating machine tools to convert materials into parts, sub-assemblies, and assembliesSurface finishing of parts, components, and assembled items including washing/painting/plating/anti-corrosion coating, hardening, polishing/engraving/etching, etc.Packaging materials or finished goods into containers for the purpose of protection, display, and handlingEnsure all product containers are clearly labeled.Maintain a clean workstation.Clean equipment at the end of the day.Keep accurate paperwork.Complete pickup test and record information.Assist with other tasks as requested by lead.Verify SQF requirements are being met.Efficiently processes fresh cut orders, including cutting and packaging fresh vegetables and other food products, for next day delivery while following all safety rules.Ensures processing room is clean and sanitized at the beginning of the shift, processes fresh cut items and produce based on orders keyed into the system, makes labels for product to be shipped, packages items and prepares them for shipment, ensures quality of product is acceptable and meets standards, follows all safety rules and regulations, follows any other requests or instructions given by the Manager or Supervisor.

Pay: $16.00 per hour

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
