Green Rabbit is an e-commerce grocery distributor leading the industry in cold chain solutions shipped straight to your door! We are experiencing rapid growth and looking to add a Quality Assurance Technician to our team! The Quality Assurance Technician is Responsible for executing specific food safety, quality, and packaging checks.

Schedules Available:

Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm

Monday - Friday 3pm - 11:30pm

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure all food safety and quality parameters are adhered to and maintained throughout the facility.
• Assist checking out bound packages
• Checking the right product in packages
• Collect in-process and finished product samples.
• Conduct standardized qualitative and quantitative testing to ensure it meets specifications.
• Follow protocols for documenting testing results.
• Recognize deficiencies and initiate proper follow-up.
• Identify and isolate products that do not meet standards.
• Aid in troubleshooting deficiencies and non-conformances.
• Review food safety and quality records.
• Actively participate in plant teams (HACCP, Safety, etc.)
• Conduct other duties as assigned by management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1+ year experience working in field or similar manufacturing environment
• 1+ years of experience working in a Quality Control/Technician role
• 1+ years experience managing people/projects
• Knowledge of computer systems excel, word
• Experience may include a combination of work experience and education
• Must read, write and communicate in English.
• Must be able to work 8 to 10 hour shift (days or nights) on a rotating schedule
• Must follow GMP Policy
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum Required: High School Diploma
• Preferred: 1 year of QA lead experience
• Preferred: GFSI Experience (SQF, BRC and etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
