TOPS Staffing is currently looking to hire an experienced warehouse employee with overhead crane operation experience for a client located in Columbia City, Indiana.

This position will involve loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing trucks. Stacking and staging materials inside the facility during processing. Will also involve staging orders using a bill of materials list.

Job Details:

Contract to hire opportunity

Daylight shift currently available

Hours:
7am to 3pm OR 3pm 11pm

Some overtime is available in this position.

Starting pay rate of $17 per hour

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Unloading trucks
• Loading out going trucks
• Staging materials in facility during processing.
• Stacking materials in warehouse for storage
• Staging orders for pick up
• Running forklift
• Running overhead cranes – Remote overhead crane

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 2+ years of warehouse experience is preferred
• Overhead crane operation experience is preferred but not required willing to do some training
• Must be ok with working in and outside – have to go in and out of the warehouse to load and unload trucks from time to time.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing
• Bend, crawl, kneel and sometimes climb on a regular basis.
• Push/ pulling of loaded carts
• Ability to work steady off shift hours
