We are looking for an individual who is computer proficient, with an operational mindset to join our growing Owings Mills, MD team. As a Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the entire warehouse operations and inventory control. You will also manage facilities, operations and customer service. Successful candidates are professional, organized, self-driven, and trustworthy.

Reports To: Branch Manager
Required work experience: 2 years warehouse management
General Job Responsibilities: Responsible for entire warehouse operation and inventory control, including facilities management,operations management and customer service.
Specific Job Duties and Responsibilities (some may be delegated):
· Manage all drivers and warehouse employees and their schedules.
· Ensure required paperwork for drivers and trucks are completed and filed.
o Send mileage and fuel reports for trucks to HQ.
o Verify that drivers have completed their daily truck inspection paperwork.
o Ensure that drivers are trained and following the most current Fleet Safety Procedures
· Maintain truck maintenance, service and repair records for each truck. (Monthly, yearly, etc.)
· Conduct Monthly Truck Inspections for accuracy of material loaded
· Accountable for deliveries being on time and meeting delivery requirements for our customers.
· Conduct daily walk through of warehouse to set work priorities for staff.
· Set daily job expectation for each warehouse person. Provide good direction.
· Oversee receiving and ensure company procedures are followed.
· Confirm that material is being put away promptly and accurately.
· Ensure accuracy and timely pulling of orders. Reduce order-pulling errors.
· Confirm returns are inspected/verified and are handled in accordance with company procedure.
· Create procedures to uncover errors and fix the cause of the problem.
· Use available reports to assist in identifying errors and proper follow-up.
· Perform cycle counts and assist in full physical inventories
· Answer inventory management requests via phone, email and in person
· Research and resolve inventory discrepancies
· Perform basic order entry functions to assist the customer
· Contact vendors to request returns of defective or surplus material
· Address employee’s performance issues as they arise by using progressive disciplinary measures.
· Arrange ongoing training for each warehouse employee. (PIT, Driver, product, etc.)
· Conduct performance appraisals for drivers and warehouse staff and assist in setting job goals.
· Communicate with sales on any delivery or customer service issues.
· Maintain organization of office and of office files.
· Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse and yard; make sure that it is cleared of trash, boxes, debris, etc.
· Accountable for building and yard maintenance which includes the completion of the Monthly Branch Inspection Checklist.
· Responsible for all Powered Industrial Truck maintenance and ongoing training of staff.
· Ensure company Safety Program is communicated and followed daily.
· Ensure accidents are investigated and reported accurately within the 24 hour window
· Maintain security systems for building and yard
· Manage resources and expense budget for warehouse.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
