Summary

Prepares billing/shipping documentation, scheduling deliveries and some inventory update. Actively involved in the company safety program and the long term and short term goals of the department.

Shift Monday-Wednesday 3:30pm - EOS normally 12 hour shift

Principal and Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Prepares billing paperwork.

Processes customer orders and necessary correspondence, e.g., email, fax and telephone.

Works with other departments to communicate and resolve customer service issues.

Participates in company and department safety program.

Complies with company policies and procedures.

Minimum Education

High School or equivalent.

Experience Requirements

2 - 4 years experience. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages. Able to understand, speak and write fluent English. Able to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages. Able to solve practical problems and deal with an assortment of variables. abel to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral and verbal forms. Attendance is an essential function of this job. Must be flexible on work schedule, including working during evening/night hours.

Experience Preferred

Experience in a perishable food commodity environment.

Microsoft Access.

Spanish is a plus.

Environmental Factors and Physical Requirements

Position is active. On the plant floor activities such as troubleshooting and re-design of existing systems are routine. May need to move equipment occasionally. Able to lift, push or pull up to 10 lb boxes and materials occasionally. Able to regularly stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Must have close and distance vision and ability to distinguish colors. May need to access files, supplies and equipment. Position requires an associate to have the ability to move throughout the complex and all facilities. When in a plant environment: Exposure primarily consists of wet and moist floors which include metal and plastic grating surfaces. May be exposed to temperatures of 28 degrees to 100 degrees Fahrenheit with both ambient and 100% humidity. May handle product 25 degrees to 50 degrees Fahrenheit. May be exposed to noise ranges of 50 db to 110 db. May be exposed to all chemicals used in poultry, food, processing facility. Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company.
