Aqua-Gon, a partner of Heritage Pool Supply is seeking a self motivated team player for our seasonal Warehouse position.
This full-time seasonal position which will focus on warehouse duties such as stocking shelves, shipping products, loading/unloading trucks, and some driving as well.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Order picking/staging and replenishment. Stage orders for delivery and load company vehicles in a warehouse/yard environment. Focus on safe work practices, such as wearing PPE, proper lifting techniques, etc., while performing daily duties and using company equipment. Deliver products to customers and branch locations. Ensure safe practices by conducting pre-trip inspections, ensure securing loading practices, and strict adherence to DOT/CDL regulations. Understand and adhere to the regulations detailed in the FMCSA. Other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to interact with employees, customers, vendors, and contractors in a professional manner.
- Must possess basic computer skills and a basic understanding of Microsoft Office Product.
- Understanding of basic sales practices and strategies to engage and grow customers.
- Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent
Bilingual (English and Spanish) helpful but not required
Physical Requirements:
Acceptable driving record.
Forklift experience helpful
Able to pass pre-employment drug test and DOT physical.
Ability to lift 75 lbs; 50 lbs on a repetitive basis.
